Benefits of membership

The main objective of the Metalforming Machinery Makers' Association is to act as the central organisation promoting the interests of companies involved in the manufacture and sale of metalforming machinery and ancillary products in the UK.

UK Exhibitions

As owner of the largest metalforming equipment exhibition in the UK - METALWORKING - the Association provides major membership benefits, including:

  • involvement in the planning and content of METALWORKING
  • members' discount on floor space
  • priority stand selection
  • access to Inward Press and Trade Missions

Savings at other regional and national exhibitions, for example at MACH 2008 members were entitled to a saving of £50m2

The Association takes stands at major overseas Metalforming shows.

Application for Membership

Membership Qualifications

Membership is open to all British based manufacturers and distributors of metalforming machinery and associated equipment (including tooling).

Membership confers all the rights of the Association on the member company including eligibility for election to Council.

Association Fees

  • Initial Joining Fee - £100.00 may be waived under certain circumstances,so please ask!
  • Rejoining Fee - £50.00 may be waived under certain circumstances, so please ask!

Membership Subscription

  • January - December - £368.00
  • Joining at June Council Meeting & AGM - £184.00
  • Joining at October Council Meeting - £92.00

All fees are subject to VAT at the standard rate.

Upon acceptance of the membership application, a VAT invoice reflecting the membership fee and joining fee will be issued which is payable on receipt.

In the past membership subscriptions have risen only in line with inflation and Council have no plans to change this approach.
