Production of complex-shaped car body components: AP&T demonstrates capabilities in tooling for hot forming of high-strength Aluminum

With AP&T’s production technology for hot forming of aluminum, body components which traditionally consist of several joined parts can be formed in a single step. This technology enables net shape forming and thus also reduced production time and costs for car manufacturers. Unipres visits AP&T in Ulricehamn, Sweden. Tsutomu Serizawa and Ryoji Maeda from Unipres in the middle, with Peter Robisch and Yuki Yoshikawa from AP&T on either side. CRAVEN FAWCETT RELEASES NEW EXTRUDER

Climate-smart clothes hangers manufactured with equipment from AP&T

Metal is not the only material that can be formed with equipment from AP&T. Employing a unique method, Ekoligens’ production plant in Kungälv, Sweden, uses AP&T presses to produce hangers out of recycled paper and cardboard. So far production has been on a small scale, but in order to meet the growing demand for its products, Ekoligens is investing in a completely new, fully automated two press line that should be operational by the second half of 2020. ROEMHELD OPENS NEW MANUFACTURING CENTRE

The Roemheld Group has opened a new Stark manufacturing centre in Rankweil, Austria.  This 6,000m2 building officially opened at the beginning of July and houses the latest manufacturing equipment and systems.  This investment in technology includes new turn-mill centres, CNC grinding machines and a 3D measuring machine for use with large parts.
