Can you tell us about the history of the company?

Press-Form Machinery Ltd was launched in 2015 as a platform for Andrew Meachen to utilise his 30 years of experience in the supply and servicing of sheet metal working machinery.

The company has recently moved into a new facility in Wakefield which incorporates a showroom, offices and workshop.

How have the last 12 months been for the company?

We have had a great year so far, even considering the whole COVID19 situation, we have been relied upon across the industry to keep key equipment running and to supply additional equipment during the demand for ventilators.

This has been an integral part of our business, and we are certainly very lucky to be able to keep busy throughout the pandemic.

What is something not many people know about Press-Form?

We are a long-time sponsor of Chrissy Rouse in the British Superbike Championship he is currently competing in the 1000 cc Super Stock class and recently became the British Champion for 2020.

We are extremely proud of Chrissy and we are fortunate to be able to work with such a talented individual, whilst being able to showcase our business.

What would you like to see from the company in 2021?

Continued growth and a continuation of the great relationships that we have with all our customers.

We know that the last 9 months have been extremely difficult for everyone within the industry, and we are happy to promote our ongoing relationships within the industry, and we are open to new possibilities and hope that our MMMA Membership will catapult us forward next year.

What would you say is the companies USP?

All the equipment we sell is manufactured in the EU, USA and Canada, is of high quality and is built to exacting standards.

We also offer customisation of these products to meet the exact requirements of our customers, and we can back these up with a great service team and supply chain without any reliance on the far east.

This is what make Press Form a truly unique company.

What are your company values?

Integrity, Reliability and Approachability

Why did Press-Form become a member of the MMMA?

Andrew had a previous business relationship with Ray Jelf who proposed that Press-Form should join the MMMA.

Press-Form joined the MMMA to showcase its products within the industry and with other members and to enjoy the added benefits such as discounted exhibition space.

How has the present Covid-19 situation effected your business?

Personally, I have not stopped all year, working through both lockdowns.

The company has continued to support key manufacturing sectors and we have increased our service staff to cope with increased demand.

What challenges has this situation brought to your business?

We have had high demand for both our new production equipment and service for existing equipment and in response we have had to take on extra staff. This has proved vital as many people are losing their jobs due to the pandemic. We are very proud to be championing our staff members, and also growing our team at a very stable rate.
